This image apears from the manipulation of 1 pixel. Want to question the quality of images that today is normally establish by the number of pixels. This project aims to demonstrate that the quality is not dependent on the number of pixels, using for its creation one pixel only.
Jorge Simões
Born in Coimbra in 1979. He lives and works in Coimbra. Studied photo at the Center for the Study of Photography, in Coimbra and at the Portuguese Institute of Photography, Oporto. Regularly exposes since 2000. Some of its exhibitions are: Fluxos, CAE, (Figueira da Foz, 2009); Icone Gallery (Coimbra, 2008), MIAB - Madeira International Art Bienalle (Madeira, Portugal, 2008) "Urban Actors #3" (TMG Gallery, Guarda, Portugal, 2008), "Urban Actors #2"(Foyer of the European Commission, Luxembourg, 2007). Is represented in the collection of City Council of Coimbra and several private collections.
