Digital China is an audiovisual performance that combines live performance of traditional Chinese instruments with loops, textures, electronic toys and computers.
The project starts from a deep study of some traditional Chinese instruments and sound recordings from various schools of traditional music China. The traditional music schools such as Sheng, Qin, Guangling and the sound of the dulcimer, the erhu, guqin, among others.
Then from processing these sounds and recordings, we create samples and loops wich are sequenced with the computer. The concert consists of 7 pieces of music separated into three acts.
