Silvio Cró was born in Funchal, where he took a degree in fine arts variant of Sculpture at the University of Madeira. In 1994, while still student, participated in the first exhibition, entitled "Embedded", in Funchal Municipal Council. Upon completion of graduate took part in several collective exhibitions in the Gallery Mouraria, in Funchal, in particular, "9 Artists", "Madeira and Porto Santo 2nd edition" (2003), "Small Format" (2005), "Madeira Islands 5th edition "(2006);" Gallery Collection "(2007). With an eye on the horizon, he exhibit in Belgium in 2004, integrating the exhibition "Artists' Collective of Madeira." Artist of the volume and shape, Young, dynamic and creative, Silvio Cro is a born experimentalist, and that his versatility will take him to work various techniques and materials.





In 1995, he was awarded the 2nd prize of the competition of sculpture, called "30 Years of Autonomy." Already in 2006, was published in Lisbon, a selection of his work that is in the Golden Book of Contemporary Art in Portugal of Fernando Infante do Carlo. Still, in the field of publication, an incursion by the world of Comics, earned him the participation in the project 24 Hour Comics Day - Highlights of authorship of Nat Gertler, published in the United States. Represented at the Berardo Collection.
